![]() ![]() I did manage to get the program itself installed in my Programs folder on drive D:, but it's still saving everything in my Users folder. One other question, where do I change where Daz stores my renders, I don't want them in my C: drive. I'm assuming that If I create a texture and place it in the correct folder it will show up as an option someplace in the program. I've done my own textures for Poser for years, and I know where to find everything, but I can't seem to find the texture files for Daz. I'd also like to know if there are templates available some place? I'm actually looking for the physical image files for the textures. You shoot a mime, do you need a silencer? The few things that I've done look very nice, a quite different look then Poser.īut I can't imagine doing any animation (my main thing) at the speed that it runs, and I only have a figure in the scene, no set or props to render. ![]() It's hard going from a program that you know to one that you don't. ![]() Is there something that I need to configure to get it to run at a reasonable speed? When I work in Poser things are almost instantaneous, no lag, I can render 300 frames of animation at full HD in a matter of minutes. I have a very fast computer, i7 3.6 GHz, processor, Nvidia 680 video card, 32 Gigs of ram, Solid State Hard drive, liquid cooled processor etc. When I drag something there is a really big delay before it moves, everything feels really laggy. The thing is that Daz Studio really runs painfully slow? ![]() Normally I use Poser Pro 2014, and I've used Poser since version 3. I'll work my way through the tutorials, when I get done just messing around with it. I'm finding that it runs really slow, now I admit I don't know what I'm doing, it's like I'm starting all over. I haven't used Daz Studio in a long time, but I thought that I'd give the new version a try. ![]()
